Making soy candles has been an interesting evolution in styles, design and even color here at Soy Works Candle Company. Take a visual tour through our various styles from 2001 through today.

During that time we have developed a premium recipe with better wax & better fragrance oils for handcrafting true artisan soy candles. Our soy candles started out good and became great.

Our philosophy changed throughout those years too - we support our American Soybean Farmers and American supply companies 100% & went dye free to keep our candles as natural as possible. We use the "green bean" to make a more environment friendly candle.

Our candles in the beginning were too embarrassing to photograph but once we figured it out they weren't camera shy at all!

We started with several styles include apothecary jars, medium mason jars (our Medium Country Jars), travel tins, travel jars and votives. All in a variety of colors.

Our apothecary jars with rustic black lids. These were a personal favorite of our founder, Heather. We discontinued them to make room for Large & Small Country Jars. Both styles are current best sellers.

These little guys are a great way to sample a scent or a small space like a bathroom; cute and compact at just under 2 ounces each.

Votives and tea lights rounded out our candle lineup. Our votives are now dye free but can be requested with color if so desired. Our tea lights are great at weddings and other party receptions since they burn about 5 hours each.

These are our current (2007) styles of candles ranging from modern tumblers to country jars.
